Meet Sara Patterson
Co-Owner of S & T Farm Supply
Sara Patterson, originally from Anthony, Kansas, has made Pearcy, Arkansas her home for nearly 11 years. She moved here to fulfill a lifelong dream of managing a thoroughbred horse farm with her father, Randy Patterson. As the farm manager of Cedar Run Farm and co-owner of S & T Farm Supply in Hot Springs, Arkansas, Sara’s passion for the thoroughbred industry runs deep.
From an early age, Sara was captivated by the world of horse racing. Summers were spent at Anthony Downs, eagerly watching her father’s horse’s race. It was then she knew her future belonged in the thoroughbred industry. Today, she is deeply involved in every aspect of the business, from breeding and raising thoroughbreds to racing her own horses.
Sara has grown her farm from its humble 40-acre beginnings to a sprawling 200-acre operation, now managing over 100 horses daily. Her clients include some of the most respected owners and trainers in the thoroughbred racing world.
In addition to her farm management, Sara plays an active role in the thoroughbred community as a director on both the Arkansas Thoroughbred Breeders’ & Horsemen’s Association and the Arkansas Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association (HBPA).
This past year, Sara and her partners expanded their ventures by purchasing S & T Farm Supply in Hot Springs. Now, alongside her thoroughbred business, she is dedicated to providing high-quality farm supplies and expert advice to local farmers, ranchers, and pet owners.

Meet Terri Hoffrogge
Co-Owner of S & T Farm Supply
Raised in the heart of Sims, Arkansas, I grew up on a family farm surrounded by the animals and values that shaped my life. From caring for cows, horses, dogs, and even wildlife to working alongside my grandfather in the watermelon fields, farm life instilled in me a strong work ethic from a young age. My grandmother’s homemade butter and homegrown vegetables from her garden taught me the importance of self-sustainability—values we proudly bring to S & T Farm Supply.
In 1992, I married a horse trainer, and soon after, began my career as a Horsemen’s Bookkeeper, a role that took me to racetracks across the country. My journey led me to Canterbury Park in Minnesota and Oaklawn Park in Hot Springs, Arkansas, where I spent over 17 years.
In 2023, when my close friends Sara and Randy Patterson invited me to join them in opening S & T Farm Supply, I knew it was the perfect opportunity to combine my lifelong passion for farming with my career experience. Now, I’m proud to serve the Hot Springs community by offering high-quality feed and supplies for farms, ranches, and pet owners alike.
At S & T Farm Supply, we’re dedicated to providing the best products and personalized service to help you care for your animals and land. God has truly blessed me throughout my life, and I’m so thankful to be part of this wonderful community.

Meet Randy Patterson
Co-Owner of S & T Farm Supply
Randy Patterson, a dedicated cattleman from Anthony, Kansas, began his lifelong career in the cattle industry at just 23 years old. Over the decades, he has owned numerous sale barns and established himself as a prominent buyer for various outfits across the country. His passion for agriculture and livestock runs deep, and today, he remains actively involved in the cattle business.
In 1985, Randy expanded his agricultural ventures into the world of Thoroughbred horse racing, where he quickly became a dominant force. His success in the racing world has earned him respect as a seasoned horseman. In 2013, he took another step forward by purchasing Cedar Run Farm, located in Pearcy, Arkansas, which is now managed by his daughter, Sara Patterson. Cedar Run Farm is home to around 100 horses, and during foaling season, from January through April, it welcomes another 50 foals into the herd.
When Randy isn’t immersed in his cattle or Thoroughbred operations, you can often find him enjoying his Arkansas home, making his daily drive to the farm to feed the fish and check on the horses.
With a deep love for agriculture and animal care, Randy has partnered with his daughter Sara to help run S & T Farm Supply, where they provide high-quality farm supplies and expert knowledge to the Hot Springs, Arkansas community.

Meet Nicole Hoffrogge
Warehouse Manager
S & T Farm Supply
Born into a racetrack family in Newark, Delaware, I spent my early years immersed in the vibrant world of horse racing, growing up on the backside of Canterbury Park in Minnesota. In 2010, after my dad left the track, my family relocated to Mt. Ida, Arkansas, where I attended school from kindergarten through 12th grade.
After high school, I ventured off to college but eventually found my calling in the oil and gas industry. I worked for an international engineering company, and my career took me to some of the most challenging and exciting environments, including the nuclear industry. My proudest achievement was working at Arkansas Nuclear One, which led to an even greater role as General Foreman at Kings Bay Nuclear Naval Base in Georgia.
Although I thrived in my career, I found myself missing my family and the sense of home, so in 2022, I returned to Arkansas. After trying my hand at bookkeeping for horse owners and trainers, I realized I wasn’t suited for a desk job. Fortunately, I was given the opportunity to join the S & T Farm Supply team, where I now manage the warehouse and handle product ordering.
Working at S & T Farm Supply allows me to combine my organizational skills with my passion for agriculture, while also serving the Hot Springs community with the best products and services for farms, ranches, and pet owners.
